How do I find the versions of all the apps I use with Android Auto?
As of Android Auto 3.1, it is now much easier to find the set of apps and dependencies associated with Android Auto. Including this information when reporting any issues that you encounter will be helpful to the Android Auto team for triaging and identifying the problem(s). To see and share this list of apps and their versions:
Open Android Auto on your phone.
From the Home screen, navigate to Menu > Settings.
Scroll down to the bottom, and tap on the Version preference section. This will expand the view to include the list of apps associated with Android Auto, as well as a list of which permissions are enabled or disabled. Caveat: this currently does not work on certain devices (fixed for the next update in 3.2).
To share this information, long-press on the Version preference section, which will open a sharing dialog that allows you to copy that information to the clipboard, embed it in an email, etc.
